FR. LOU
Since Fr. Lou's ordination, he has been active in parish ministry, teaching internationally as well as ministering through RETREATS, WORKSHOPS, DAYS OF REFLECTION, SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS, and HEALING SERVICES. Among his many experiences, Fr. Lou has also participated in Cursillo and the Charismatic Renewal since the early 70's.
One of Fr. Lou's desires is to share his experiences and love of the Eucharist and healing power of the sacrament. In 1992, he developed a series of teachings on "Healing in The Eucharist" and has been busy ever since conducting retreats, workshops and courses on this important and unique dimension of our faith. The Church teaches us that the Eucharist is the summit and font of our faith. "The Healing in The Eucharist" teachings and celebration help make this belief a reality.
During his four years of service in parish ministry, he experienced an intense calling to a ministry of preaching, teaching, and healing. Following a process of prayer and meetings with the diocesan authorities, Fr. Lou met with the Cardinal Archbishop Jean-Claude Turcotte. As a result of this meeting, Cardinal Turcotte gave him permission to be relieved of his parish responsibilities and to devote himself full-time to the preaching, teaching, and healing ministry. Since then, he has continued to minister and travel internationally, instructing and conducting services on this extremely important dimension of our faith.
